About Julia Lee
When not spinning and knitting, Julia is a science writer and editor in Toronto. To develop her wearable textiles Julia interprets a visual image, or sometimes a sentiment, to create a garment that will bring pleasure to the wearer and the viewer. Colour, texture, and functionality are primary motivations when creating the fabric from handspun natural fibres. Julia likes her pieces to be noticed, while still being practical and durable.
